True connection in Christ means living in unity, loving one another, and reflecting the family of God here on earth. The seven "ones" in Ephesians 4:1-6 give us a shared foundation of belonging. Christians don't just exist side-by-side; we burn together, radiating a brighter light for the world to see. Our differences don't matter as much the shared flame.

Gratitude isn't a feeling; it's a spiritual discipline that keeps the flame of faith burning brightly through every season of life. It's the oxygen that our faith needs to survive and thrive.

Biblical fellowship works in a similar way for the church. It is more than just attending events or shaking hands; it is the spiritual connection that keeps the fire of faith burning in our hearts. It is the support system God designed to help us endure the difficult stretches of our journey. So, let’s look at the early church to see how fellowship was not just a side dish but the main course.

Has the vibrant joy in the Lord that you once knew begun to smolder, leaving you feeling cold? I think we all experience this as Christians. The good news is: you don't have to live there. There's a spark in you that God is wanting to set ablaze. It's a joyful relationship in knowing, praising, and thanking God because of who He is, not the circumstances we are in.

In large part the church has been lulled to sleep. It is time to wake up and live the mission that the church was called to do, spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. There is urgency because the second coming of Jesus Christ is closer now than it has ever been. We must resist the desires of the flesh and faithfully live the Christian life.

Sermon 5 from the series “Awake O Sleeper.” Is the Fruit of the Spirit being developed and lived in your life? Pastor Scottie teaches on the nature of the fruit that the Apostle Paul speaks of in Galatians 5:22-26. He also looks at the contrast between fruit of the Spirit and the desires of the flesh (Gal. 5:19-21).

Pastor Scottie takes a deeper look into Acts 4:23-31 to find the power of a praying church. There is a unique power in a congregation that will make corporate prayer an essential part of their ministry.

Pastor Scottie examines the faithful, never ending mercies of God. “His mercies are new every morning.”

Pastor Scottie continues the "Awake O Sleeper" sermon series in Isaiah 6. Spiritual awakening ignites when we truly behold God's radiant holiness and feel the deep conviction of our own sin, leading to a profound cleansing and surrender.

Pastor Scottie speaks on the importance of the father's spiritual leadership in the home. Families need to see a reverence for God, no compromise with competing allegiances, daily and deliberate choices, and a declaration from fathers to be a spiritual leader in the home.

“Remember…Repent…Return!” Pastor Scottie delivers a message on the church’s love for Jesus growing cold. Has our passion for worship, prayer, Bible study, sharing the gospel grown distant and cold? Jesus doesn’t want service without affection.

Pastor Scottie speaks on Jesus' warning to the church of Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6). Spiritual apathy is becoming more and more problematic in the church today. There seems to be a lack of interest in surrendering to God and pursuing a genuine relationship with Him. The warning to the church is that God will bring judgment on those who wear righteousness on the outside, but the inside is dead. Yet, there is hope--but the church must "Wake up!"

Pastor Scottie continues with a part two sermon on Romans 12:1-2. There is a battlefield in our minds to be conformed or transformed. God is not interested in just adjusting our behavior--He wants to reshape our thinking. When the mind is reshaped, a life is transformed.

Pastor Scottie challenges stagnation in spiritual growth with the Apostle Paul's plea in Romans 12:1-2. It's a call to be transformed by surrendering ourselves to Christ. Yet, this surrender isn't a one-time event, rather transformation is an ongoing process as Christ abides in us and we abide in Him.
